Emtec Building Services, part of the Sauter Group of companies, is a national M&E contractor with a highly skilled, motivated in-house team of mechanical, electrical, plumbing specialists, and more. No M&E project is beyond our capability. We prioritise excellence in all our operations, ensuring efficient and customer-focused service delivery. As a national contractor with a strong local presence, we have a central commercial function that supports and strengthens our operations, working seamlessly with our integrated delivery teams and regional businesses. With an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects, we are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Dundee.

The Role

As a valued member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial control and driving the implementation of best practices. Your close collaboration with operational teams will be key to achieving success.

Who We Are Looking For

  • We’re seeking talented individuals who possess a sound commercial instinct and a passion for construction.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • Strong MEP background (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
  • Confident, reliable, and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent numerical, interpersonal, communication, and IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commercially aware, enthusiastic, practical, and detail-oriented.
  • Familiar with the construction Act and standard forms of Contract/Sub-Contract: typically SBCC/NEC.
  • A full UK Driving licence is essential.
