Superb opportunity for a hands-on and commercially aware Finance Director / Head of Finance. You’ll be joining a thriving £10m turnover SME as the primary finance contact - reporting to the MD.

The role is completely all-encompassing - managing all aspects of the financial reporting and financial management. It’s a key role as a sounding board for financial decision making, business strategy and tactical direction.

Required- Previous experience as Head of Finance / FD within a diverse SME
- Confidence when drilling down into the detail - the role is for a senior finance person who has no issues in digging into the nuts and bolts (1 other person in finance at Assistant Accountant level)
- Great communication skills and ability to influence decision making and direction within a board.
- Ability to support / lead other functions (responsibility for HR / IT etc).
- Great people skills - ability to build relationships across all areas of the business in order to understand levers of success (50 employee business).
