What does an Area Sales Representative do?

As an ASR this is a field-based sales role covering the Kent region. Therefore, candidates needs to be living in Kentor on the border. You will be representing their full range of lighting products mainly selling into the Electrical Wholesale market with some dealing directly with Electrical Contractors. This is largely an account management role and will involve several responsibilities including:

  • Developing relationships with Wholesale Branch Managers, Buyers and Trade Counters
  • Conducting product demonstrations and driving promotional activity
  • Follow monthly call plans to ensure all your customers are visited each month
  • Target upcoming project opportunities

Success in the role could lead to an opportunity to move into a more senior sales position, dealing with larger clients, or even leadership roles.
