Activity Instructor - Summer

The Details

• Title: Activity Instructor
• Reporting to: Camp Manager
• Contract: Seasonal holiday work available, with opportunities in Easter, Summer, and Half Term holidays.
• Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm on weekdays. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with additional hours for staff holding a paediatric first aid qualification (usually 8am – 6pm).

Summary Of Position

The role of an Activity Instructor is to ensure the welfare and safety of children on camp and to deliver engaging, structured activities. You will be expected to deliver a variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts, and games suitable for children aged 6-14 years, focusing on participation, care, and development. We provide training and support to help you develop skills and knowledge in a childcare setting.

In addition to leading sessions, staff contribute to the high standards of physical, emotional, and social care provided by Ultimate Activity Camps. As an Activity Instructor, you will have a pastoral role, leading a group of children on camp and maintaining their welfare while delivering high-quality care.
