NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

This is a permanent, part-time position of 24.6 hours per week. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.)

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the nursing team at Royal Alexandra Hospital, ward 18, a Gastroenterology/Medical ward. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ward runs smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with stock levels, and working closely with the SCN.

The ideal candidate should be flexible, reliable, and self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic computer literacy are required. Previous healthcare experience is desirable but not essential. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with specific hours to be discussed with the Senior Charge Nurse.
