We’re supporting an innovative digital consultancy in the early stages of building out their Salesforce practice. This is a rare opportunity to be one of the first hires into a newly formed team, where you’ll help shape the direction, standards, and culture from the ground up. They’re looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect who can lead from the front — delivering complex solutions, engaging with enterprise clients, and helping to build a high-performing Salesforce capability.
About the Role
As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you’ll play a key role in early client delivery and internal practice development. You’ll own the architectural vision on projects, lead agile delivery teams, and work closely with client stakeholders and Salesforce partners to ensure secure, scalable, and forward-thinking solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture, from design through to implementation and integration
- Leading multi-skilled teams in delivery, with a focus on AI integration and platform-first approaches
- Collaborating directly with client-side architects and stakeholders to shape secure, scalable designs
- Supporting pre-sales activity, proposals, and bid responses as the practice builds out its client base
- Acting as a senior technical contact for Salesforce UK and ecosystem partners
- Mentoring and developing junior team members as the practice scales
- Contributing to internal frameworks, delivery standards, and technical direction
What They’re Looking For
- Experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect on complex UK-based programmes (ideally including public sector)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture – including Sales, Service, Experience, and Data Cloud
- Certified Application Architect and System Architect
- Confident communicator able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience integrating Salesforce with broader tech landscapes (e.g. AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365)
- Familiarity with non-functional considerations like performance, scalability, and security
- Willingness to travel across the UK as needed (approx. 8 days/month)
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Active SC or DV clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g. Public Sector Solutions)
- Experience building or scaling a consulting practice/team
- Presence in the Salesforce or tech community via blogs, events, or public talks
Why Join
This is more than just another architecture role. You'll be helping to build something new — setting the standards, shaping delivery strategy, and influencing hiring and tooling decisions. You’ll work alongside a high-calibre team in a consultancy known for its delivery excellence and people-first culture. If you’re ready to take a leading role in a fast-growing Salesforce capability and want to be part of shaping its future, we’d love to hear from you.
