Our client is looking for a highly motivated medical secretary to work as part of a small team supporting highly-respected Doctors in Executive Health. Knowledge of the Arabic language would be helpful.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Owning patient care coordination and providing secretarial support to Consultants
- Building strong and trusting relationships with patients
- Scheduling complex workflows, managing phone calls and online requests
- Navigating correspondence with patients and healthcare providers, ensuring follow-up documentation is distributed
- Managing medical records, imaging, lab results etc
- Interacting on a daily basis with patients, customers, referring physicians, health staff and family members
The skills you need to bring:
- 5 years’ experience providing secretarial support in a fast-paced medical environment
- Patient focused and service orientated approach
- Ability to make independent decisions using sound judgement
- Ability to work quickly, sometimes under pressure, and always with impeccable attention to detail
- Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills essential
- Knowledge of the Arabic language would be beneficial
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and balance conflicting demands
- Strong keyboarding and computer skills
