Our centre has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team on a FlexiBank arrangement. The ideal candidate is somebody who can connect with our culture and values and takes pride in delivering a first-class service to our patients and consultants.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a FlexiBank role working on an ‘as and when required’ basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during periods of annual leave or absence.
Reporting to the Ward Manager, the successful Healthcare Assistant will be required to provide the highest standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team, including:
- Assisting our consultants and nurses during their clinics with chaperoning, minor op procedures, dressing changes and phlebotomy.
- Taking part in audits and admin work.
- Promoting customer service and patient care.
- Acting as part of a team and promoting good teamwork across all teams.
Required qualifications, skills & knowledge
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a healthcare assistant.
- Experience from the private sector a benefit.
- Experience within one or more of the following areas: Gynaecology, theatre/minor operations, cosmetic surgery.
- Skilled in venipuncture.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of customer care.
