Job Description

Based at Seaton Grove, Seaton Road, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 1- Fixed.

In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

You will work 30 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our team at Seaton Grove Care Centre. You will help us to ensure that the tasks of simple gardening and general maintenance of external areas are completed to a high standard. You will undertake driving of allocated vehicles including completing the routine maintenance of the vehicle (for example oil and water checks). You will also carry out minor repairs to fabric and furnishings.

You will replace light bulbs/tubes and fuses (up to 60 amp) and examine ball-cocks and water fittings. You will inspect cleaning equipment to ensure safe operation. You will be expected to follow strict health and safety procedures at all times.
