Rate/Salary: £24,570 per annum

Duration: Permanent

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Panel Wirer to join our workshop team. You will be trained in assembling and wiring control/metering panels, working from technical drawings and using hand tools and workshop machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical and electrical assembly of panels

• Drill, cut, and install components using hand tools and machines (e.g. band saw, pillar drill)

• Wire panels to provided electrical schematics

• Learn in-house testing procedures (FAT)

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Meet quality and project deadlines

What We are Looking For

Essential:

• Keen eye for detail

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

• Basic understanding of electrical schematics

• Good time management

Desirable:

• 1+ year of relevant experience

• Panel wiring or assembly background

• Driving licence

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Self-motivated and dependable

• Problem solver with good communication skills
