Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Trainee Panel Wirer to join our workshop team. You will be trained in assembling and wiring control/metering panels, working from technical drawings and using hand tools and workshop machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in mechanical and electrical assembly of panels
- Drill, cut, and install components using hand tools and machines (e.g. band saw, pillar drill)
- Wire panels to provided electrical schematics
- Learn in-house testing procedures (FAT)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Meet quality and project deadlines
What We are Looking For
Essential:
- Keen eye for detail
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics
- Good time management
Desirable:
- 1+ year of relevant experience
- Panel wiring or assembly background
- Driving licence
