We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with either mechanical experience or qualifications to develop their career through extensive training and support, working on backshift as part of a growing and forward-thinking team.

Location: Corby

Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm

Pay: £16.20 per hour (40 hours per week – all hours paid)

Duties:

* Operating 2-3 machines as part of a small team

* Loading machinery with metal reels

* Performing basic quality checks on finished products

* Unloading machines and preparing products for dispatch

* Supporting the machine setter and wider team with smooth production flow

* Ensuring a clean and safe working environment

The ideal candidate must:

* Have a mechanical background – either through hands-on experience or a relevant qualification

* Be comfortable operating machinery in a manufacturing environment

* Be reliable, process-driven, and have a strong work ethic

* Be physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

* Be open to learning and developing new skills
