We are seeking an IT Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our company. The ideal candidate will assist with hardware and software maintenance, provide technical support to staff, and help ensure the smooth running of IT systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first-line technical support to staff via email, phone, or in person.
- Liaise with external IT support.
- Set up new user accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory and asset records.
- Assist with IT onboarding for new employees.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
- Maintain documentation of systems and processes.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.
- Proven experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- IT-related qualification or proven experience.
- Good knowledge of common office-related IT issues.
