The Shore Group are representing one of the UK’s leading Roofing and Cladding Contractors who specialise in the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of roofing and cladding. The company has built their enviable reputation for providing their customers with high levels of service which has allowed them to be awarded contracts with numerous blue chip companies leading to continuous new work across the country.
Roofing refurbishment project starting in Edinburgh mid-late August, approx. duration 16 weeks.
Duties:
- Site set up Inductions
- Dealing with sub contractors
- Communication with the store manager on a daily basis
- Making sure all works are checked and signed off
- Daily reports and communication with contracts manager
- Making sure all paperwork is updated every day
Compliance:
- Actively monitor and update our online portal, with all relevant daily activities.
- Ensure site SHEQ file is up to date and reviewed weekly.
- Review Health and Safety Plans / RAMS, Documentation in line with our Arrangements for Health and Safety and agree with Contract Managers prior to works commencing. Adapt/update documentation as required.
- Ensure all operatives work to the RAMS and if methodology of these change, are reviewed, assessed, and revised accordingly.
Service:
- Improve on site communication with operatives, contract managers, and client.
- Carry out service reviews with the customer or his site representatives.
- Provide the highest levels of service when dealing with customers and fully adopt the company’s Guiding Principles and procedures within our system for service.
- Conduct positive dialogue with customer teams keeping them fully appraised of project progress, events, and their significance.
Resource:
- Manage and communicate with operatives to ensure staffing levels are adequate to achieve or better the project programme.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills by attending site meetings.
- Liaison with site operatives regarding site queries.
- Drive production on site to achieve the project programme of works. Monitor progress against the programme and report on any issues.
