Day in the Life
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting precious cargo, operating and driving straight and articulated trucks, loading/unloading materials, and operating tack trucks for paving operations. Strong communication skills will also be necessary as you coordinate with clients, customers, and dispatch. When you are not driving, you will be conducting daily circle checks on vehicles, cleaning, and performing equipment maintenance, with safety as your number one priority. It will also be important to stay organized when completing daily timesheets and log books.
