The Head Bartender/Mixologist is responsible for guiding the preparation of beverages according to the Club's recipes and procedures. You will be responsible for providing an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers. The Head Bartender/Mixologist assists with customer and bar service at the Club's selected beverage outlets and helps the Outlet Manager ensure that the selected beverage outlet is managed efficiently according to the established concept statement, providing courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times. You are to assist and create cocktails as well as help the F&B Manager to spearhead the Bar Program for the Club.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Bar Operations & Service Excellence
- Oversee daily bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Ensure all drinks adhere to venue standards and recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
- Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise and mentor bartenders and barbacks, ensuring high service standards.
- Conduct training sessions on mixology, customer service, and bar operations.
- Manage staff schedules and allocate duties to optimize efficiency.
- Beverage & Cocktail Development
- Curate and develop seasonal cocktail menus that align with the venue's theme.
- Experiment with new ingredients, techniques, and presentations to enhance the menu.
- Conduct tasting sessions and get feedback from guests and management.
- Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate liquor, ingredients, and bar supplies orders.
- Track sales and minimize wastage and over-pouring to control costs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, and usage.
- Customer Engagement & Experience
- Provide an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Make drink recommendations based on customer preferences.

Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 2 yearsβ experience at a supervisory level within a bar or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of beverages, mixology, and bar operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
