HGV2 Driver

Overview

Due to the continued increase in demand, we are looking for additional Cat C / LGV2 (Class 2) Drivers for our clients based around the North East on an adhoc basis. Areas covered are Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, County Durham and Northumberland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of HGV2 work including local multi drop, trunk runs, and tramping where required.
• Engage with customers face to face, providing excellent customer service.
• Specialized roles may include HIAB or other skilled tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Category C (HGV2) entitlement on their licence
• Driver\’s CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No major endorsements on their licence

Experience

Experience is not essential for a number of roles, so if you7re newly qualified we want to hear from you.

Rates and Benefits

Rates of pay start at £14.75 per hour depending on the contract with enhanced rates paid for overtime, nights and weekends (PAYE).
