In this job role you will:
- Use equipment such as lathes, drillers, grinding, welding and CAD equipment to manufacture components required by the department.
- Assist with maintaining tools, jigs, fixtures and equipment.
- Assist with the manufacture and assembly of special purpose machinery.
- Assist with the manufacture of new tools, jigs and fixtures.
- Use various engineering materials: Mild steel to EN19, Aluminium, Phosphor Bronze, Copper, Nylon, Plastic.
- Train others if required.
- Work in a team.
- Complete relevant paperwork, route cards and daily check sheets.
- Keep work area clean and tidy.
