We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a keen eye for trends, and loves connecting with influencers and online communities

Key Responsibilities

Influencer Outreach & VIP Liaison
• Proactively manage influencer outreach through Instagram, TikTok, and email
• Tailor and coordinate influencer visits across resorts (dates, treatments, room preferences, etc.)
• Create and send VIP arrival forms to appropriate resort teams
• Follow up with influencers post-visit to request content and feedback

Social Media Engagement & Community Management
• Monitor and manage DMs and comments across Champneys, Mottram Hall, and Eastwell Manor Instagram and Facebook accounts
• Respond to customer service queries, general questions, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Engage with comments and content from influencers, brands, and our community

Content Creation & Trend-Led Campaigns
• Capture high-quality photo and video content around resorts (spa, fitness, treatments, rooms, retail products, etc.)
• Plan and create TikTok and Instagram content in line with current trends and resort promotions
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand tone and aesthetic are maintained

Research & Competitor Insights
• Conduct regular competitor audits to identify best-in-class social media practices
• Present findings on social trends, grid design, content themes, and creative templates

Collateral & Visual Assets
• Design digital invitations, itineraries, and mood boards for PR events and brand days
• Support with visual planning and styling for events and influencer activations

Reporting & Admin
• Compile a monthly marketing report showcasing social media performance, influencer activity, and key highlights
• Liaise with competition winners, confirming prize details and arranging bookings

Key Skills & Experience
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Experience in influencer marketing or PR (preferred but not essential)
• Confident in capturing and editing photo and video content on mobile
• Good eye for aesthetics, trends, and brand voice
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Organised, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Later.com, or other design and scheduling tools

Working Hours & Location
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (with occasional evening/weekend social cover or events)
• Based at Champneys Tring with hybrid working options available
• Occasional travel to our other resort locations for content creation and experiences
