We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Junior Graphic Designer with a passion for hospitality to join our team at Sunset Hospitality Group UK.
About Us
Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) has expanded into London with the launch of three new venues in the prestigious Belgravia neighbourhood, now open at the iconic 19 Motcomb Street. Each concept offers a unique culinary experience to the city. SACHI presents refined Japanese Kappo dining with seasonal omakase menus and a rooftop terrace boasting panoramic views. Amélie serves bold Provençal flavours in a day-to-night setting. LUUM, a vibrant cocktail lounge, blends Latin American mixology with an energetic atmosphere.
The Role
As our Junior Graphic Designer you will be responsible for supporting the marketing team with creating graphics for both social and print, designing and updating menus, developing branding, and producing visual content for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Report and collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives and requirements, develop engaging visuals aligned with the brand’s identity
- Support the development and creative execution of new concepts, crafting compelling visual identities
- Update and design menus
- Support in developing assets for marketing / brand campaigns for a range of channels (paid social, email, web, print, digital advertising, direct mail and print)
- Work closely with printers and other vendors to ensure proper execution of designs, ensuring assets are ready for print
- Create compelling brand videos and Instagram
- Ensure consistency across all creative and assets for each of our concepts to maintain brand integrity
- Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and enhance design quality
- Organise and manage digital files, assets, and project documents efficiently for easy access and collaboration
- Identify design challenges and propose creative solutions to achieve project objectives
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality industry
- Proficient in graphic design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Figma (or similar)
- Ability to develop engaging social media content including still assets and reels
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects across different mediums
- Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking and innovative approaches in problem solving, pushing creative boundaries to deliver unique and impactful design solutions
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, visually appealing designs
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and accept feedback gracefully
- Time management and organisational skills to prioritise and meet deadlines effectively
