My client, a specialist UK-based Civil Engineering Consultancy focusing on Structural, Civil, and Environmental Engineering, is seeking a Civil CAD Technician to join their team in Glasgow.
Qualifications:
- Strong academic background in a relevant discipline, including a HNC/HND or BSc in Civil Engineering.
- Experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority, particularly in wastewater treatment design using AutoCAD, Revit, or ACC.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BIM modelling, Infoworks, or Causeway Flow.
This role offers the opportunity to work on Water and Waste Water Treatment projects for Water Companies alongside a team of experienced Engineers. You will be involved in:
- Sewerage and Pipeline Designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Creating 2D and 3D models and drawings for water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Design layouts, RC details, sections, site plans, and civil detailing using Revit and Civil 3D.
- Model sharing using ACC.
