Legal Secretary - Residential Conveyancing

TWX are working with a well renowned Legal Firm in the Glasgow City Centre who are looking for a Legal Secretary to join the team.

With regard to flexibility and work model they are open to discussion with the right candidate. However, they are not open to fully remote.

Above and beyond this, the firm has a real focus on it’s employees, a lot of whom have families. They ensure people are heard, at partner level, and make adjustments where possible.

What will I be doing?

This role will be working with an already established legal team within the firm, supporting and assisting fee earners with their case load.

Working well with others and taking pride in your work, will be what makes you successful in this role.

Typical activities include:

• Preparing of Standard Security, Dispositions and Discharge deeds
• Preparation of LBTT notices
• Lodging Advance notices
• Ordering searches, titles and redemption figures
• Preparation of Cash Statements
• Requesting loan funds from lender
• All other support duties required by the Paralegals/Solicitors in the smooth running of purchase and sale transactions.

Role Requirements

• Recent experience in supporting Conveyancing transactions under Scottish Law
