Our client is currently seeking to recruit an Electrical Harness Build Technician with a range of skills to join their growing team.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manufacture of motorsport and/or automotive electrical harnesses
  • Building of LV/HV assemblies and enclosures
  • Perform end of line harness test procedures such as continuity, isolation pin retention and resistive tests
  • Harness diagnostics and fault finding
  • Onsite client support where required
  • Order parts related to harness build
  • Support the installation of harnesses into vehicles when required
  • Assist in the creation of electrical harness BOM with engineering
  • Support the development of harness procedures/layouts for production and customers
  • Assist in wiring work costing for engineering

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing wire harnesses is essential
  • At least 3 years in harness manufacturing within automotive, motorsport, military, or aeronautical industries
  • Working knowledge of Raychem System 25 standards and processes
  • Experience with electrical design tools is desirable
  • Experience working with high-end motorsport organizations is preferred
  • Full driving license
  • Flexibility to carry out various harness design and assembly tasks, from production to prototype
  • LV & HV harness testing and commissioning experience

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom (EU), hold a valid driver's license and passport, and be willing to travel internationally as required.
