We have an opportunity for General Assistants to join our team at Marketplace Belfast. As Northern Ireland's leading wholesaler, we offer the most comprehensive range in the market with over 10,000 lines, including impulse, alcohol, grocery, and chill/freezer items. We are committed to helping local businesses succeed with our dedicated customer service team.
Our Belfast marketplace team is growing, and we are looking for dedicated and driven individuals to help us continue our success in winning the EIQA (Excellence Ireland Quality Association) award. This position is based in Belfast only.
The Role
Cash Office Assistant
We seek a dynamic individual to provide effective, efficient, and flexible support by conducting daily sales audits, completing and reconciling daily cash sheets, maintaining cash office security, and identifying/reporting any cash discrepancies.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above (or equivalent), or 6 months experience in a similar role
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience in cash handling
- Excellent planning, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Thorough approach to work with a keen eye for detail
- Strong team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
