We are seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to provide 1:1 support to students in the East of England, specifically in Bedfordshire, Bedford. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring sessions to help students improve their Maths and English skills.
- Plan and deliver tailored Maths and English tutoring sessions for individual students
- Assess students' learning needs and develop personalised learning plans
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their understanding and skills
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Maths, English, Education, or a related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
- Proven experience in tutoring Maths and English to students
- Strong understanding of Maths and English curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
- Additional certifications in teaching or tutoring
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
