Have you ever thought you’d make a great Professional Carer, but were put off because you don’t have qualifications or care experience? Well, think again. Because when it comes to experience, you probably have the best kind already, and that’s life experience. Life’s given you some special qualities: patience, good humour, and compassion. You care about people around you and you’re there for them when the going gets tough. Don’t worry, we’re not looking for saints, just kind people who are available for regular weekend and evening work. If you can tick those boxes, then our care jobs might tick yours.
We’re recruiting in your area. It’s secure work. We’ll train you fully, and there’s a bright future ahead.
What’s it all about? Life gets more challenging as we get older. Our Carers are here to provide a helping hand by visiting people in their own homes, once or maybe several times a day. You might be helping them get up, get washed and dressed, or making sure they have grocery supplies and a hot meal. Or that things are tidy and safe around the home. But that’s not why their eyes will light up when you arrive. That’ll be because of what you bring to their lives: human company, reassurance, and hopefully some fun. Of course, some people you visit will be having a hard time, so you might be on the receiving end of that. But you quickly realise, they’re the ones who need you the most.
Starting to see why you’re cut out for care? We’re stronger together. CERA’s not just about serving the community; it’s about being one. You’ll be working with people like you, who’ll be there through the good times and the challenging! On joining us, you’ll train for the industry-recognised Care Certificate and shadow experienced colleagues while you learn the ropes. Then there are branch teams and care specialists you can call on with concerns, not to mention technology that lets you concentrate on care instead of paperwork. We’ll applaud your hard work with decent pay rates and staff benefits, and there are genuine promotion prospects to team leader, care specialist, or into management.
