Job Description:

ARU is collaborating with The Metropolitan Police and seven police forces in the Eastern Region to train future police officers through the Police Education Qualification Framework (PEQF), including the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP).

We are seeking Instructors to deliver police education via lectures, seminars, tutorials, and support programme review and development. The role involves working at police force sites in Kent, initially responsible for a single cohort of student police officers on the PCDA/DHEP programs.

Requirements include a minimum of a degree or equivalent professional experience, with experience in higher education teaching preferred. Extensive policing knowledge is essential if a degree is not held. Background checks, including the College of Policing barring list clearance and NPPV Level 2 vetting, are required.
