The Role
As an OLR Case Worker with the RMA, you’ll provide support, advice and guidance to Lead Authorities and other partners related to the oversight of Scotland's Order for Lifelong Restriction (OLR) sentence. This role involves rigorous review and evaluation of Risk Management Plans, Annual Implementation Reports, Risk Assessment Reports and Accreditation applications. You’ll be a key contact for justice agencies for advice and support, and you’ll contribute to the review, development and maintenance of case records and databases.
Requirements
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline such as social work, psychology or law.
- Current knowledge and demonstrable understanding of the justice system.
- Ability to identify issues and suggest solutions.
- Experience in research or project management skills would be advantageous.
The Organisation
The Risk Management Authority (RMA) is a non-departmental public body, established in 2006.
