FLT Counterbalance Driver—Night Shift

Pay Rate: £12.94 per hour

Hours: 18:00 – 06:00 on a Continental Shift Pattern

Total Recruit are recruiting for FLT Counterbalance Drivers for their prestigious client, a Global Storage and Distribution business specialising in frozen food.

Working on a 12 hour, continental shift pattern that does include weekends

(you will work only 2 weekends out of a 6 week rota) you will need to be flexible with your hours, overtime is available and paid at a higher rate.

You will be working in a freezer, at minus 19 degrees, but ALL PPE is provided

This is a temp to perm role position for the right person

Duties will include:

• Unloading and Loading wagons and put away onto the conveyor
• Driving onto the back of trailers to load and unload the pallets
• Loading outbound deliveries
• Moving stock around the warehouse
• Minimal other non FLT duties such as checking and general housekeeping

Skills Required:

• Valid FLT Counterbalance License (RTITB or equivalent) and have experience
• You must be able to work in a freezer –19 degrees
• Used onboard computers or have basic IT skills
