An automotive component manufacturer undergoing positive changes requires an additional HSE Manager to provide environmental health and safety guidance across business units. The ideal candidate will have experience in a large automotive manufacturing environment with comprehensive knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
Location: Commutable from Liverpool, Halewood, Chester, Birkenhead, St Helens, Warrington, Runcorn, Knowsley
Package: £60,000 - £70,000 p.a., plus Car allowance, 6-8% pension match, and Family Bupa health cover
The Role:
- Reporting to the HSE Director, your responsibilities will include managing the Health and Safety budget.
- Preparing and presenting health & safety reports to the board.
- Participating in the commissioning of new buildings.
- Collaborating with plant EHS Coordinators to ensure compliance and the implementation of best manufacturing practices.
The Person:
- Applicants should be educated to degree level in a Health & Safety discipline and have extensive experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001, with familiarity with IATF 16949.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and proficiency in MS Office.
