Do you have experience working within CNC? I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering company based in Tewkesbury. You will be working on 3 axis machines setting and operating within a great team. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines for both new production and tool regrinding
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to guide production
- Program CNC machines offline to optimise productivity
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as necessary
- Perform routine maintenance checks and complete quality control documentation
- Collaborate with the wider team to resolve production issues
- Use handheld and digital measuring tools for accurate quality checks
- Manual grinding experience is advantageous, but training will be provided
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven experience operating and programming CNC machines
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tight tolerances
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
