Established in 2001, our client works with both private clients and the public sector to locate missing Next of Kin and beneficiaries to an estate. They are now one of the country's largest genealogists/heir hunter firms in the UK and pride themselves on their professional, diligent, and client-focused approach.
To support our continued growth, they are seeking a proactive Marketing Administrative Assistant to cover a 12-month maternity leave period.
Role Overview
The Marketing Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of marketing activities, with a particular focus on CPD webinars, website management, database maintenance, and client feedback collection. You will be an organised, tech-savvy team player with experience across a range of digital tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, arrangement, and production of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) webinars for clients
- Help manage the backend of the company websites, including content updates and basic troubleshooting
- Support data cleansing and database management activities to ensure records are accurate and up-to-date
- Help coordinate conference and event administration, including ticketing setup and attendee management
- Respond to client emails promptly and professionally, providing information, support, and updates as required
- Collect client feedback using a designated review platform, ensuring high response rates and accurate reporting
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to support marketing operations as needed
- Help maintain and update marketing materials using graphic design tools
- Support video content uploads and webinar recordings management
Skills And Experience Required
- Previous experience in a marketing support, administrative, or similar role
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience in a legal, professional services, or genealogy environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing tools
- Strong working knowledge of software tools including Canva, Figma, Vimeo, GoToWebinar, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe
Terms
- Contract: 12-month fixed-term maternity cover
- Hours: Full-time with option to work 36 hours over a 4 or 5-day week
