7.5 tonne Driver - Newcastle

Looking for consistent HGV driving work at a great company? We have ongoing temporary assignments for 7.5T drivers delivering for Royal Mail. We offer regular shifts, good rates of pay, and weekly bookings in advance.

You’ll be delivering and collecting mail and parcels from Royal Mail mail centres, operating from a well‑organised depot in Newcastle, using clean, well‑maintained vehicles. There is some interaction involved for loading and unloading.

This is a 7 day operation so we offer a variety of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle – whether you’re looking for occasional days, part‑time hours, weekend work, or a full‑time schedule, we can tailor shifts to suit your availability.

Pay Rates:

Monday to Saturday

• Days: £16.53 to £17.49 per hour

• Nights: £17.25 to £19.40 per hour

Sunday

• Days: £23.24 to £24.30 per hour

• Nights: £24.06 to £26.21 per hour

All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately

Requirements

• Valid 7.5T driving licence

• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card

• Minimum 12 months of recent 7.5T driving experience required

• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)

• DBS check completed as part of the registration (no cost to you)
