The HR Booth is recruiting a Pastry Chef on behalf of Pitlochry Festival Theatre. We are looking for someone passionate about food, creative in the kitchen, and eager to be part of a renowned cultural venue in Scotland.

For nearly 70 years, Pitlochry Festival Theatre has been a central part of Scottish cultural life, specializing in musical theatre and arts in a rural setting. Our campus includes the Scottish Plant Hunters Garden and hosts seasonal events and performances, offering a vibrant environment for culinary professionals to showcase their skills.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you'll support the Head Chef in creating high-quality, visually appealing pastries and desserts, contribute to menu development, manage your station, and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Key Tasks

  • Assist in food preparation and pastry service
  • Produce high-quality pastries and desserts, focusing on design and taste
  • Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen stock and supplies

About You

Applicants should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Level 3 Food Safety certification
