You will lead the company relationship with the new Technology Distributor partners, enabling product BU’s and sales operations teams to onboard and support our Go-To-Market (GTM) priorities—across distribution led products, services, and solutions. We are seeking a seasoned leader with deep, first-hand experience in senior roles at global technology or IT distribution companies. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully navigated the complexities of distributor ecosystems and is ready to shape Siemens’ global distribution strategy. This role champions IT Distributor onboarding and enablement, coaching, and performance governance, ensuring that our new technology distribution partnerships are aligned to both regional and global strategic priorities. It also holds key responsibility for governing the execution of Siemens’ Global Partner Program within the Global Technology Distributors driving consistency, operational efficiency, and adherence to global standards, certifications, and lifecycle management models. The Global Distribution Lead will also oversee Distributor engagement and visibility at Siemens-hosted fairs/events and priority value added reseller events, ensuring strong representation and coordinated storytelling of our joint value proposition. This role is instrumental to Siemens’ ambition to become the most trusted partner in the industrial technology ecosystem—scaling impact through collaboration, specialisation, and partner-centric growth. This role will be based in the UK, with regular regional and global travel (+50% as required). Core Responsibilities • Own and deliver global IT distributor quotas by identifying high-potential partners, driving sales across diverse VAR types, aligning execution with vertical strategies, and ensuring channel health through KPI monitoring, incentives, and forecast accuracy. 2. Product and Inventory Sales Growth Enablement • Partner with sales operations, business units and supply chain leaders to drive inventory transparency and deliver actionable insights that accelerate IT distribution reseller sales. • Deliver strategic recommendations by analysing POS and inventory data, collaborating across teams to generate data-driven reports, and driving IT distribution growth through proactive, evidence-based leadership. 4. Distributor Sales Development & Team Coaching • Drive sales team development and partner success by mentoring distribution teams, fostering a partner-first culture, enabling lifecycle management and advancing managed services adoption. 5. Distributor and Partner Program Governance • Ensure alignment with the Global Partner Program by governing distributor and reseller activities, streamlining collaboration across teams to optimise processes, and driving focused partner segmentation, performance reviews, and pipeline management. 6. Distributor Advisory & Engagement • Strengthen Siemens’ distributor ecosystem through IT distributor global advisory councils, translating partner feedback into GTM insights, and elevating distributor presence at trade fairs and flagship customer events through strategic collaboration with HQ and marketing teams. 7. Vertical Coverage & Market Alignment • Collaborate with HQ to build a targeted distributor and VAR ecosystem aligned to Siemens’ priority verticals, (e.g., Automotive, Pharma, Infrastructure, Energy) driving recruitment and activation strategies that address market gaps in line with the global distribution model. 8. Strategic Collaboration & Influence • Act as a strategic advisor to global leadership by championing partner-centric planning, cross-functional alignment across Sales, BUs, Marketing and Operations, and shaping global partner strategy with data-driven insights on IT distributor needs. What skills and experience will you bring? • Significant experience in senior IT Distribution Sales leadership, Channel Leadership, or Ecosystem Management experience, ideally in complex, matrixed industrial or digital technology environments. • Proven success in leading distributor/sales teams and exceeding revenue targets across multiple partner types/countries/regions. • Experience in implementing or governing global partner programs, with a focus on consistency, enablement, and results. • Demonstrable people leadership and mentoring —able to develop, inspire, and hold teams accountable. • Proven ability to lead senior stakeholder relationships across countries, regions, Business Units, and global functions. • Highly analytical and data-driven with strong communication, influencing, and decision-making. • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus This role supports Siemens\’ transformation towards becoming One Tech Company, through strategic distribution ecosystem health, insights-led guidance, and collaboration.
