Main Function of the role: The goal of the Performance Analysis team is to deliver a value-added service through a combination of in-depth knowledge of each asset class and each portfolio Managers’ investment process & style.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide regular performance analytics as well as any ad-hoc queries for all asset classes. Includes performance signoffs, reports, statistics, stock/holdings analysis etc.
  • Work closely with the investment floor, Business Development and other support functions to ensure all their information needs are satisfied and assist in any new business of products and instruments.
  • Assist in the production of performance analytics for inclusion in Federated Hermes internal/external board reports and annual financial statements.
  • Ad-hoc analysis when required.
  • Assist Associate Director and Head of Performance on all performance related queries and tasks.
  • Provide peer group reporting at fund and strategy level to the business.
  • Assist in various projects relating to the department.

Minimum knowledge & experience required:

  • Minimum 'B' Maths A Level or equivalent
  • Strong skills with computer-based systems including excellent spreadsheet knowledge.
