Summary: Woodland Hospital is one of Northamptonshire's leading private hospitals located in Kettering. Woodland Hospital has 35 single rooms, all with en-suite facilities, a multi-bedded day ward and a two-bedded high dependency unit. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services.
The role: An exciting opportunity has arisen at Woodland Hospital as we continue to expand with Glendon Wood Hospital, our brand-new day case facility based in the Glendon area of Kettering. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team. The working hours per week are 20 hours, to be worked flexibly, Monday to Friday between 09.00 - 17.00.
High-level duties include:
- Managing Pre Planned Maintenance Schedule
- Booking external Contractors
- Placing Orders with Suppliers and reconciliation of accounts
- Maintaining documentation of the maintenance team workforce hours
- Interacting with other hospital departments leads and onsite engineers
- Communication via phones and emails
What you’ll bring with you:
- Proven experience in Administration
- Proven experience with SAP S4 system or similar within the procurement process with particular focus on raising and receipting purchase orders in line with the hospital maintenance requirements.
- Proven ability to make decisions and establish priorities under conflicting demands
- Very organised, a good communicator with a high degree of computer literacy
- The ability to make decisions and use your initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft packages and SAP
- A good understanding of Construction / Hospital environment would be advantageous
