Looking for an Apprenticeship? Look no further than Coveris. We specialise in high performance packaging and are looking for new talent to join our team. There are 4 exciting opportunities across our 2 Boston sites & Spalding site – start your career within the print industry today! Suitable candidates would have great attention to detail, demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, and be a team player.

Be involved with a thriving company that will provide all the training you need to succeed in the packaging industry. Below are some key responsibilities and requirements for the role.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Maintain health and safety within a print-related work environment.
Communicate and work with others in the print environment.
Gain knowledge of the organisation\’s printing processes.
Keep equipment clean and in working order.
Operate flexo printing machines.
Assist in all areas of label manufacturing to understand the business better.
Promote and maintain health and safety standards.
Contribute to improving the effectiveness of the print organisation.
Plan work to meet production requirements.
Maintain systems in working order.
Gain a better understanding of the print industry.
Control the use of variable data with printing machines.
Understand the mechanical operations of the machines.
Provide improvement ideas for the site.

Key Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths & English.
Highly motivated, eager to learn, and loyal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Great attention to detail.
Organised and calm under pressure.
Friendly, approachable, flexible – a team player.
Proactive, positive, enthusiastic – with a “can do” attitude.
Travel may be required; a current, clean driving license is an advantage but not essential.
