Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in character education. We have a co-educational community of over 500 students who are predominantly full boarding year-round. We also run our own prestigious and well-established Summer School for children aged 8-16 from approximately 40 nationalities. Gordonstoun has a beautiful campus and staff can take full advantage of the lovely local area. Each year, we create a vibrant international community where our staff play a critical role in creating a happy and formative summer experience for our students.
We are looking for an inspirational EAL teacher to teach English as an additional language. You will deliver creative and engaging lessons that enable students to quickly accelerate their learning of English. You should have relevant teaching experience and be able to inspire by using a student-centred learning approach and up-to-date resources. You will be recognized as someone who has a highly professional approach, creating and delivering a top-quality course with guidance from our Academic Manager. You will also complete reports on students and participate in some excursions and activities.
Ideally, you will have at least one year of relevant teaching experience; however, anyone who has taught English in the past will be considered.
2025 dates: Tuesday 1st July to Monday 28th July. The course is residential with full board. Competitive salary offered. You must have the right to work in the UK.
