The Director of Global Compensation will lead the design, development, and execution of Cohesity’s global compensation strategy. You will ensure our programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives across all geographies. This role partners closely with executives, HR business partners, finance, and legal to drive compensation decisions that support our growth and culture.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

  • Lead the strategy, design, implementation, and communication of global compensation programs, including base salary structures, variable incentives, and equity plans.
  • Ensure global compensation programs are aligned with market trends, legal requirements, and internal equity.
  • Manage the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, bonuses, and equity grants.
  • Provide expert guidance on compensation matters related to executive offers, promotions, and retention packages.
  • Partner with global HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure cohesive compensation practices across all regions.
  • Lead global benchmarking and market analysis to evaluate competitiveness and effectiveness of compensation programs.
  • Monitor regulatory and market changes to ensure compliance and innovation in compensation policies.
  • Build and lead a high-performing compensation team, providing mentorship and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare compensation data and reports for the executive team, board of directors, and compensation committee as needed.
  • Serve as a thought leader on total rewards, identifying opportunities to innovate and scale our compensation strategy.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep experience in global compensation, including knowledge of regional market trends, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Proven track record in designing and managing compensation programs in high-growth, global technology companies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and influence decisions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and executive presence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field; Master’s or CCP certification a plus.
  • Passion for technology and the pace of a high-growth environment.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range $204,000.00-$255,000.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
