We are currently seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our growing team, working within the social housing sector across the Somerset area. This role involves finishing in newly installed kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring properties are left clean, fresh, and ready for residents. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £18.00 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £15.45 Inclusive of holiday). You will be working a standard 37.5 hour week with potential to take overtime. An immediate start is available.
Key Responsibilities:- Internal painting and decorating of kitchens and bathrooms in occupied and void properties
- Preparing surfaces to a high standard (filling, sanding, undercoating, etc.)
- Applying finishes including emulsion, gloss, and varnish
- Maintaining clean and safe work environments in tenant-occupied homes
- Working to tight deadlines while maintaining quality craftsmanship
- Liaising professionally with tenants and site managers
- Proven experience in painting and decorating, ideally within social housing
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering a quality finish
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
