The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Our client is in the middle of a global D365 rollout and are now in need of a permanent Test Manager that can lead the delivery of their test programme and the business moves into pilot and global rollout from there. The organisation is moving into pilot in 2025 and then into a global rollout for the next 3-4 years after, across 40 countries. They are currently in process of selecting an automation tool to use moving forward, this selection will take place early October, and this person will be responsible for the development and maturity of the automation function moving forward. Currently the team is a Test Manager and 3x Test Analysts, will the expectation that this will grow as the project matures with delivery. They will also be a need to flesh out their release programme alongside the testing schedule as above.
Responsibilities
- Developing strategies: Developing testing strategies and policies to ensure high-quality products, including building out the new test automation suite
- Planning and managing: Developing and implementing test plans, and managing the resources and execution of the tests
- Coordinating: Leading and coordinating a team of testers, and working with third parties and vendors
- Assessing: Evaluating the progress and effectiveness of the testing effort
- Reporting: Reviewing test results and preparing reports for stakeholders
- Training: Training and supervising team members
- Communicating: Keeping key stakeholders informed about the testing progress
Person Profile
- Strong leader of test teams, developing automation skills within the existing team.
- Experienced with developing test strategies alongside a rollout of Dynamics 365.
- Has worked on the implementation and development of an automation framework.
- Experience with building out a test team in line with an increasing and developing ERP programme.
- Able to work on release management and building out a release programme.
