As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. The role involves devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the residents' wellbeing, independence and social engagement.

Main duties of the job include planning and implementing a range of engaging activities for the care home residents. This includes getting to know the residents and their families, understanding their interests and needs, and then creating tailored activity programmes. The role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to inspire both residents and staff to participate in activities within the home and in the local community.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn’t essential as we’ll ensure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
