We have a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Specialist (Sourcer) to join our Royal London In-house Recruitment Team in Alderley Park. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent to Royal London. We are looking for individuals to support recruitment within our asset management and central functions business units. This role requires exceptional sourcing skills, a deep understanding of candidate evaluation, and the ability to build relationships with potential candidates and internal stakeholders. You will be joining a collaborative and high energy recruitment team where you will have the opportunity to recruit across a variety of functions. With most of the team based in Alderley Park, you will be well supported in your role.

About the role

  • Partner with the Recruitment Business Partners to understand the hiring needs and develop a targeted sourcing strategy.
  • Utilise various sourcing techniques, including direct sourcing, networking, and passive candidate outreach, to identify and engage with high-calibre candidates.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume reviews, phone screens, and in-depth interviews, to evaluate their qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Present qualified candidates to the Recruitment Business Partners, providing detailed evaluations and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline of potential candidates for future recruitment needs.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the organisation, promoting our values and opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market intelligence, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Business Partners to ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation in the applicant tracking system (Success Factors).

About you

  • Previous experience within in-house recruitment or agency, with a focus on candidate sourcing and headhunting.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and attracting high-quality candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of candidate evaluation techniques and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals.
  • Proficiency in using various sourcing tools, platforms, and social media channels.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple candidate pipelines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Previous experience of recruiting for Financial Services clients is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience of recruiting candidates for positions within asset management or corporate functions (finance, risk, compliance, procurement, etc.) is highly desirable.
