Weekdays – £22.31 + £2.69 hol pay= £25 /hr
Weekends – £39.45 + £3.55 hol pay= £33 /hr
Lodge Allowance – £55 per day
The Role:
We are currently recruiting Industrial Electricians for an outage at a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power station in Kent.
This is a planned shutdown focused on turbine maintenance and associated electrical works. While turbine-specific experience is not required, candidates must have a background in industrial or heavy engineering environments such as power stations, refineries, chemical plants, or large-scale manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Electrical isolation and de-isolation activities during outage
– Installation, termination, and inspection of cables, containment, and panels
– Support I&C and mechanical teams with temporary power, lighting, and ancillary services
– Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems
– Work safely and efficiently under site permit-to-work systems and RAMS
Requirements:
– Proven experience on industrial facilities
– Valid CCNSG Card
– NVQ3 or City &Guilds or equivalent
