The Role Stride is a highly creative studio, building brands on and offline. We’re looking for an experienced, well-rounded Marketing Lead to take ownership of our studio’s marketing output and work closely with our long-term retainer clients. You’ll lead both the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of marketing activity. Working alongside our project manager and design team, you’ll plan campaigns and craft compelling brand stories. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering marketing plans that raise the profile of our clients and drive engagement with their brands. You’ll also be responsible for boosting Stride’s own brand presence. This is a hands-on, self-directed role ideal for someone with creative agency experience, a strategic mindset and a sharp eye for design. Key Responsibilities Developing cohesive marketing strategies Identify opportunities across relevant platforms and channels Create actionable plans / calendars Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activity and audience behaviour Feed insights back into campaigns and strategic planning Set KPIs and report on performance Content and campaign creation Write and curate compelling journal articles, email campaigns and brand content Coordinate and manage campaign execution across relevant platforms Maintain and evolve a clear, distinctive tone of voice across all communications Digital and SEO Plan and implement SEO strategies to drive traffic and visibility Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices Manage updates and content for our websites Optimise structure, content and SEO to support marketing goals Use Google Analytics and other tools to analyse and optimise performance Requirements 2+ years experience in a marketing role within a creative agency or design-led environment An eye for design and appreciation for creative work Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently Confidence presenting ideas to clients and collaborating with creative teams A proactive, strategic mindset with a genuine interest in our work and mission You’ll have demonstrable experience in: Copywriting and editorial content creation SEO strategy and implementation Email marketing and campaign management Market research and competitive analysis Using CMS tools (e.g. WordPress), Google Analytics, Mailchimp and other key platforms Nice to have: Familiarity with creative tools like Figma and Adobe CC for asset editing Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana An interest in AI and its role in assisting marketing output Where You’ll Work Location:Chester City Centre Hybrid:Minimum 3 days in the studio At Stride, we are committed to creating a friendly, relaxed, and inclusive workspace where everyone feels safe and valued.
