An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, professional, and versatile individual to join the Parts Department based at our Liverpool site working Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm. Reporting to the Group Parts Support Manager and working as part of the Parts Sales Team, the main job function will be to drive our retail aftermarket sales growth and achieve sales and purchase targets using a targeted and driven sales focused approach, visiting existing and prospective clients face to face within the Liverpool area.
Other important aspects of the role will include:
- To look for and develop conquest business from our existing customer base and develop new conquest customers building excellent customer relationships.
- To meet the demands of our customers and franchise partners expectations.
- To ensure a consistent and highly commercial approach to parts sales and delivery across our region.
- To play an active role in supporting and driving front and back counter sales.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Previous experience within a parts sales role and of working within a Main Dealership with knowledge of the Commercial Vehicle Industry would be a distinct advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
- Able to demonstrate good knowledge of competitors and understanding of how to deliver excellent customer service.
- To be sales and target driven, a motivated self-starter.
- To be IT literate and have good analytical skills.
- To have a flexible and well organised approached to work and changing priorities.
- To act professionally at all times and be able to communicate effectively with different target groups including customers, depot managers, franchise partners and suppliers.
- A full and current UK driving licence.
