1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Location: Greater London & Surrounding Areas We are looking for a skilled Steel Erector/Welder to join our growing team, working on structural steel projects across Greater London and beyond. This role offers competitive pay and long-term work opportunities for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring safe working practices during pre-assembly and erection of structural steelwork at various heights. Sling loads, signal, and work with cranes. Work at height using Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) and other access equipment. Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in planning project assembly based on technical drawings from architects/engineers. Cut, shape, and position steel components. Guide and align steelwork using tower cranes, ensuring proper levelling before bolting. Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets industry standards. Essential Qualifications/Skills: Valid CSCS card (required). Full UK driving licence . Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Practical, hands-on approach with a \”can-do\” attitude . Comfortable working at height and on-site in various conditions.
