This role carries responsibility for our Excavator product range, including the JCB X Series. The individual will bring a strong product knowledge, well rounded commercial understanding and a customer first attitude. The role requires you to demonstrate credibility when communicating at all levels within JCB, JCB dealers and our customers business. Key responsibilities Sales Management – Setting of SMART product targets and reporting and measuring through Salesforce and JDS. Product Management – Ability to work alongside internal product and supply teams to deliver monthly retail targets. Business Development – Identify market opportunities for key products and implement sales initiatives to deliver growth. Relationship Management – Proven in developing key relationships with dealer sales teams, along with internal JCB personnel such as our UK Sales and Marketing team. Problem Solving – Identify potential issues that may affect future sales and oversee the implementation of an effective solution. Change management – Support in implementation of new CRM system for both JCB and dealer sales teams. New product implementation – Supporting new product introduction into the market and supporting business case development for future product opportunities. New Sector growth- growing sales revenue and market share in new sectors to JCB. About you: · The successful applicant will have the perfect blend of a sales management, commercial experience and product background. You will have an appreciation of the market and industry knowledge with an understanding of typical construction applications. An established network in heavy excavators would be advantageous. Experience of selling to end users directly or indirectly via a dedicated dealer network, demonstrating the ability to handle commercial negotiations and delivering monthly sales forecasts. Importantly, the person should be highly self-motivated with a confident manner, with the ability to communicate at all levels throughout the business.
