Wise May is looking for a proactive, analytical Insurance Assistant / Technical Accountant to join a leading international Reinsurer. Working in a global team, you will facilitate data-driven decision making and work with stakeholders to support their reporting requirements. Contract length expectation: 6 months Responsibilities: Understand the data received from clients to ensure it meets the required level of detail. Manage individual data and accounts of assigned clients on the Single Risk platform and accounting system. Investigate discrepancies in premium calculations. Manage the claims portfolio for assigned clients, ensuring accurate claim notifications and liabilities, and investigate any discrepancies. Conduct regular reviews to verify the accuracy of outstanding claims. Ensure timely cash settlements. Understand the co-reinsurance structure between the UK and Ireland, ensuring settlements align with client shares as documented in the treaty. Assist with internal and external administration as required. Skills and attributes: Numerate with experience in data handling. Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
