The Role: A Head Chef at Soho House oversees kitchen operations and staff, manages budgets, and ensures high-quality dishes for members and guests.
Main Duties:
- Collaborate with the General Manager to enhance the food offering.
- Oversee kitchen team including recruitment, training, payroll, and performance appraisals.
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed and compliance maintained.
- Delegate tasks, complete checklists, and manage dietary restrictions and allergy procedures.
- Train staff on safe work habits and procedures.
- Develop and enforce processes for efficient kitchen operation, maintaining standards and profitability.
- Promote teamwork between front and back of house staff.
- Work with Marketing/Events on menu creation and food quality.
- Ensure proper food storage, ordering, and hygiene standards are met.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3-5 yearsβ experience in a senior kitchen management role.
- Innovative leader with F&B operations management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building.
